My Hero Academia Fighting Game Ranks Character Win Rates – With Bad News for Ochaco

My Hero Ultra Rumble, the anime battle royale video game based on the My Hero Academia series, has revealed the character win rates of its superpowered cast.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the official My Hero Ultra Rumble account uploaded the statistics of the win rates associated with its original lineup of 18 playable characters. Based on previous posts, the win rates were calculated from information gathered between Oct. 12-Oct. 19, with the top five being Eijiro Kirishima (19.02%), Izuku “Deku” Midoriya (19.22%), Tsuyu Asui (19.90%), Mt. Lady (20.11%) and All Might (21.68%).

Conversely, the My Hero Academia characters with the lowest win rates were Denki Kaminari (15.93%), Himiko Toga (15.48%), Mr. Compress (15.40%), Cementoss (15.02%) and Ochaco Uraraka (14.46%). Interestingly, Kirishima made it into the top five despite being a character that players have to unlock through the My Hero Ultra Rumble gacha system. All Might also claimed victory despite being the final unlockable prize in the game’s battle pass system. Both locked characters and others can be played through a guess ticket system, although this is limited to three per day.

Support characters like Mr. Compress and Cementoss have the lowest win rates when compared to other classes in the game. Unfortunately for Ochaco fans, the main anime heroine has the game’s lowest win rate. However, the playable character has suffered from a bug that hurts the reliability of her grappler connecting to objects in midair. Bandai Namco and developer Byking are aware of the hiccups and issues of balancing characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble and have issued a survey for players to answer for suggestions on how to improve the game.

My Hero Ultra Rumble was released on Sept. 28. The battle royale game takes the colorful cast of My Hero Academia and pits them against each other in teams of three, similar to games like Fortnite or Apex Legends. The latest addition to the superpowered roster is Shota Aizawa, the drowsy teacher of U.A. High School who can nullify a user’s Quirk through his Erasure technique.

My Hero Ultra Rumble is available as a free-to-play video game on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. The My Hero Academia anime series is available on streaming sites like Crunchyroll and Hulu. Viz Media handles the English manga release.
